I’m the girl behind the lens at Jake Marie Photography!!
My love for photography has always been there but the day I became a Momma the desire to capture all of my little man’s precious moments of his life always had me having the camera in hand. Since then our 3rd angel arrived in 2014 and my love for photography has never stopped. I needed to capture every little moment, every cute little outfit, as we know unfortunately our babies don’t stay little for long ….
In 2012, I decided to study photography and received a Diploma from the Photography Institute in Vancouver, British Columbia. Continuing to add to my learning curve I have taken courses specializing in light, maternity, working with families to capture what makes each and every “Fam Jam” so unique and awesome and I have found that I LOVE capturing all the amazing “little munchkins” as the result. Seeing their personalities unfold; their shyness, their stubbornness, their giggles and watching their little faces as they are tickled, hugged or kissed by Mom and Dad. There is something to be said to have that opportunity to freeze that moment - It’s TIMELESS…
